As a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner, he specializes in developing custom strategies for corporate executives and supporting energy industry professionals as they prepare for and transition into retirement.
He joined Birch Run Financial in 2013, attracted by the opportunity to work with a collaborative, client-focused team. He provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services and is committed to ongoing professional development. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Spanish from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and earned the CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.
Ian lives in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, with his wife Cara and their two sons, Heath and Grant. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, golf, snowboarding, and playing classical piano.
